A couple of pretty cool life updates this week:

1. First, I’m part of a fantastic clinical cohort of media spokespeople ready to defend the argument about why contraceptive / birth control pills should be available over-the-counter (OTC). Not behind the pharmacy counter. Not limited by prescription. Instead, on the shelf next to the Tylenol and Advil. Read more in the Contraceptive Access Initiative’s FAQ page.

honored to be part of the media spokespeople cohort for @ThePillOTC which brought together an incredible group of clinicians ready to speak with media about why removing a prescription requirement for contraception to allow access over the counter, on store shelves is crucial 1/

2. Second, I am so over the moon to be the inaugural Reiss Family Lectureship in Ethics and Equity at SUNY Upstate Center for Bioethics and Humanities.
