Since the start of this year, I’ve been wildly busy with two main projects: (1) writing my dissertation and (2) starting as Board Chair for the Midwest Access Project. Public announcement for the second coming soon, but for now I wanted to get a few of MAP’s upcoming abortion training opportunities out to you - please share far and wide!
Midwest Access Project’s Clinical Training Application is now open!!
Are you a medical student, nurse, Advanced Practice Clinician, resident, or physician looking to expand your training in sexual and reproductive healthcare? Midwest Access Project (MAP) is excited to announce that the Individual Clinical Training Program is currently accepting new applicants!
MAP's ICT Program works to close the gaps in sexual and reproductive healthcare by coordinating individualized training rotations for a diverse array of healthcare professionals.
Barriers to accessing this training are more prevalent than ever. MAP wants to support you in your endeavors to provide comprehensive care that bolsters the agency and autonomy of your patients.
MAP is seeking applicants who are:
Highly motivated to provide comprehensive reproductive health care;
Committed to caring for under-served patient populations;
Unable to access the clinical training to do so.
You can learn more about the ICT program and apply online through Midwest Access Project's website. If you are ready to apply, get started here!
The application cycle will run from February 12 to March 1, 2024. The application closes on the 1st at 5 PM CST.
If you would like more information about the ICT program or would like to discuss if a MAP rotation is a good fit for you, please reach out to our team at ict@midwestaccessproject.org.
